It's a shame that Volks discountined so many head molds but I like a lot of the new ones they've been adding in recent years so I can't complain too much. Maybe she wasn't very popular? Or maybe they just wanted to mix things up a bit and keep things interesting? Makes me wonder what molds they might stop making in the future. I never got round to getting her painted, but I have done a bit of sanding to modify her face slightly since I took these photos. I'm looking forward to seeing what you do with yours. I'm like this, and having so few real friends means I know all of them well, so I don't have to wear a mask..anyone I've had to do this around has basically been eradicated from my life. I'd rather be alone with my hobbies than faking a personality for a few stupid friends who don't care about me. I think some of these doll people may be after a type of perfect companion who doesn't talk back, and may appreciate the dominance they can have over it that would not fly in a real relationship.
